Partner Visas
The Australian Partner Visa allows the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia. It includes the Subclass 820 (Temporary Partner Visa) and Subclass 801 (Permanent Partner Visa) for onshore applications, and the Subclass 309 (Provisional Partner Visa) and Subclass 100 (Permanent Partner Visa) for offshore applications.
Additionally, the Subclass 300 (Prospective Marriage Visa) enables the fiancé(e) of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to come to Australia to marry their partner within nine months. The process involves first obtaining a temporary visa, followed by a permanent visa.
